Own a Limited Edition Elizabeth O'Farrell Print by renowned Irish artist Jim Fitzpatrick
Specially commissioned by the Moore Street Preservation Trust to support the campaign to stop the demolition of Moore Street, the last battlefield of the 1916 Rising, this limited edition print - one of only 100- could be yours!
World renowned Irish artist Jim Fitzpatrick has made a new portrait of Elizabeth O’Farrell - the Easter 1916 rebel, nurse, Cumann na mBan activist and lifelong Irish Republican.
Elizabeth O’Farrell was with the evacuated GPO garrison in Moore Street and it was she who braved British Army gunfire to bring Pearse’s surrender note to the British barricade at the Parnell Street end of the street.
The print is a tribute to one of the foremost women activists of the Rising and, in supporting the campaign to save Moore Street, you are continuing the work of Elizabeth O’Farrell and her comrades.
This work of art is unique to the Moore Street Preservation Trust and we have produced 100 high quality prints. They are €150 each and all proceeds go to the Moore Street Preservation Trust.
